Versions: 1.4.0 -> 1.5.1

The App does only present a white screen, that's it.

Tried:

  • cache data erased
  • all data erased
  • GPS enabled before starting

no change.

What Android version do you have? And is https://navi.graphhopper.org working on this phone?

AOS: 5.1.1
Yes, working.

When i installed 1.4.0 it worked for some days and then started to present the white screen. BTW the logo is also presented and vanishes on startup.

Sounds really strange - any chance you can get the logs (e.g. via android studio)?

Have updated some dependencies and created a new release (2.0.2). Maybe this fixes your problems too. Unfortunately it can take a few days until it is deployed in f-droid store. You can try the debug version here: https://navi.graphhopper.org/app-debug-2.0.2.apk (likely you'll have to remove the currently installed one)

you know how stupid the adb interface is regarding logging a specific app, so here is all that got filtered with the term "graph" from the DEBUG apk:

graphhopper.log

I think this is the hint:

W/AppSecurityPermissions(16255): Couldn't retrieve permissions for package:com.graphhopper.maps

Can you check your webview version. I think Android 5 is at webview 90 or so, so newer js might not work.

Note: i checked the website with ff not the default internet app. If it's a JS bug, it may not have occurred there.
