[Support]: Unable to freshly install frigate

Describe the problem you are having

I'm unable to install a fresh install of frigate or frigate beta. I install the addon and disable protection, as well as create the required empty frigate.yaml file
I then start the container, however it never starts. Checking the logs I see the same error repeated again and again

I have followed the online quick start guide however I'm unsure what else could be wrong. I have:

1. Added the repo
2. Installed the addon
3. Created the empty config file
4. Disabled protection
5. Started the addon
6. Examined the logs

I'm not sure where else to look as I'm unfamiliar with frigate

It appears I may have misread the documentation. I thought it said to create an empty file, and I assume it would be filled with a temporary base config, but it seems I was mistaken.

I'll try again with a minimal config file

yes, if you don't have any file it will create a minimal file otherwise if the file exists it will just try to read it.
