Open Chrome and visit a page which has a password field.
Click the bitwarden icon (which is greyed out)

Sometimes it sits there infinitely with the spinner icon. Other times you get the following error. "Desktop communication Interrupted. Desktop application invalidated the secure communication channel. Please retry this operation"

Opening Bitwarden prior to opening chrome or after seems to make no real difference.

Follow the same steps above with Microsoft edge. Windows Hello pops up, enter PIN and everything works as expected

Expected Result

Can use edge and chrome plugins on windows at the same time

Actual Result

Can only use edge

Hi @rollsch

I attempted to reproduce your issue and was unable to do so. I think your error could have its origin in a misconfiguration

You will need to enable the "Require verification for browser integration"

We use GitHub issues as a place to track bugs and other development related issues. If your issue persists, please write us back using our “Contact support” form located on our Help Center (https://bitwarden.com/help/).

You can include a link to this issue in the message content.

Alternatively, you can also search for an answer in our help documentation (https://bitwarden.com/help/) or get help from other Bitwarden users on our community forums (https://community.bitwarden.com/c/support/).

The issue here will be closed.

Thanks!

This did fix the issue, however on my other PCs this is not required. I will post on forums next time.

Thanks
