Hello there,

Will you try uninstalling the application, removing any leftover data, powering off and on your device and re-installing? Does this issue still persist?

Guide to the leftover data: https://bitwarden.com/help/data-storage/#on-your-local-machine

Hello,

thank you for quick reply. I tried and followed your instructions but the issue still persists. I am experiencing the same issue on 2 machines where I use Bitwarden desktop app.

I am selfhosting Bitwarden docker image. Not the official ones but Vaultwarden. I am fully aware this could be the origin for this problems but I had no issues so far in 2 years up until couple of months ago. Also Chrome extension does not have this issue.

UPDATE: I have tried with official BW docker installation and I have same issue. The desktop app is supper laggy.

Could you please share the specs of your server that you are running?

Please also share the CPU and memory utilization when the server is running

I am running Vaulwarden containerized in docker that is installed on my VM which has 16GB RAM and 40GB SSD.

The docker container utilizes CPU 0.1 and memory 25 MB when running.

I am the sole user.

Update: I have since moved from Vaultwarden and I am now using official Bitwarden docker version and Windows app is still very laggy but only on one system. What are the requirements, services that Bitwarden desktop app is using to run? So that I can check versions of those, maybe I need to update something? I have no idea what could be causeing this issue since my system is otherwise running smooth as butter.

Update: This is still a persistent issue on my PC. On my work laptop it is not. Since I mostly use my work laptop it took me time to update the issue.
