The colors helped me when I needed to see and manually type a password. One of the main reasons I liked Bitwarden

FYI, in the "character count" view, the color coding does appear, but this benefit is offset by the fact that the password font used in the "character count" display does not allow ambiguous characters (Il1| or O0) to be distinguished. In the context of this thread, this is only an aside, as the deficiency in the "character count" view already existed in the old UI design. Nonetheless, @Hatchtek is right, the color coding was available when viewing the password (on the item view page) in version 2024.11.2, and is now no longer available in 2024.12.0. So the functionality has been lost — i.e., a bug.

Would be nice if the colors used for color coding could also work for individuals with red-green color blindness, which is very prevalent.
