Name and Version

bitnami/external-dns 8.x

What architecture are you using?

amd64

What steps will reproduce the bug?

Deploy any 8.x version of the chart and attempt to set the replicas field, or attempt to deploy more than one replica of the deployment.

Are you using any custom parameters or values?

No response

What is the expected behavior?

No response

What do you see instead?

One replica is deployed.

Additional information

The 8.x verison of the chart changed from the combined ds-dep manifest, to a new deployment.yaml template.
This removed the option to deploy multiple replicas entirely.

This breaks normal functionality of the PDB that is included in the chart. It also prevents graceful rolling deployment updates.

I see it's addressed here - #26759

Will follow up with upstream here - kubernetes-sigs/external-dns#2430

I consider it unacceptable that the bitnami chart would deploy a PDB by default with a static replicaCount set to 1.
