Searching for Asset Pipeline plugins on homepage is broken

Searching for plugins at http://www.asset-pipeline.com returns Http Status 500 Internal Server Error.

After looking at the source code I can see that the problem is that the search is trying to query https://api.bintray.com/ which is no longer active. If there is no equivalent service to query I think it would be a good idea to take the www.asset-pipeline.com site down or removing the search functionality from it as it is a really bad user experience that it is broken.
