there is a deprecation of using createConnection using typeorm , instead you should be doing it like this :
const AppDataSource = new DataSource({ type: "postgres", host: "localhost", port: 5432, username: "test", password: "test", database: "test", synchronize: true, logging: true, entities: [Post, Category], subscribers: [], migrations: [], }) AppDataSource.initialize() .then(() => { // here you can start to work with your database }) .catch((error) => console.log(error))
