We might want to track gasoline and diesel fuel at some point. Both are derived from crude oil, however the crude oil is consumed by the process that transforms it into other fuels. This transformation and consumption needs to be honored by the resource tracking system.

Along with tagging raw materials (#17) we also need a systemic list of resource transformations that can be applied to various companies' products such that an input resource is consumed before being transformed into its constituent outputs.

Note that the VF process model is a perfect point of integration for this type of transformation.
