Strange .gitmodules behaviour

Hello,

After the PR merged today I just tried to browse through the balena-owa5x repo and found something quite strange.
In the ".gitmodules" file the updated layer "meta-owasys-owa5x-bsp" has been correctly added and is pointing to

meta-owasys-owa5x-bsp

But when I hover the mouse over the layers directory the URL that appears over the meta-owasys-owa5x-bsp is totally different:

What could be happening here?
