xdg-ninja is good at explaining how to alter bashrc scripts, but it doesn't explain where to move the files that it's complaining about (except in the situation where no bashrc alterations are necessary). Doing so would make it easier to use, particularly by novices.
In many cases, it's not very difficult to deduce what to do from the bashrc advice. In some cases it's not possible without some extra work (for example, for ghcup).

I think what's a bit more tricky is that once the location is imported, it's not very clear if the file (or folder) is meant to move into the suggested location, or as the suggested location stated by the export. I infer it as latter, but it's still confusing.
