Things to say:

  • Axolotl is a primary client, registering here will change your identity key and disconnect your Signal Android
  • Security is lower

Anything to add? What do we want to keep from the actual first screen?

I think it looks nice, looks wise however, I think it might be better to have a fullscreen background maybe like the one featured on the axolotl.chat website?

I just think its more engaging and I think new users should be presented with something a bit more flashy during first boots or update releases.

When it comes down to what to put in it.

  • Axolotl Beta

  • A multi-platform Signal Client

  • Signing up here will log you out of your other sessions

  • It's a beta so expect bugs and missing features.

  • As a row of icons put the github logo with a link to the github repository, then a website icon to link to the website, and a donation logo with a link to librepay, paypal or something?

  • continue button.

I think links that are just url's on a welcoming screen doesn't look so good, especially if they include the https:// part, though linking to the website using the https:// url in the app in some system settings would be no issue at all.

Also consider looking and taking note of how Fluffychat does there welcome screens.

I am interested about this, can you please share some screenshots of it?
