[BUG] Unable to see new chat messages

First off, THANK YOU so much for your continued work on this!

I have a bug that is not allowing me to use the awesome app, though

After scanning the QR code with Signal, nothing happens on Axolotl.
I can close the app, and then get to a "No chats available" screen.

Expected behavior: Show new chats that come in

Actual behavior: No chats are shown. Awesomely, push notifications are working and show the messages in the top bar, but nothing shows up in the actual app itself.
