ADOT collector of "topology-aware-hints" blog fails to start

After deploying the ADOT collector, the ADOT pod fails to start.

Command to deploy.

kubectl apply --server-side -f common.yaml

Error message:

$ kubectl -n opentelemetry logs default-collector-85dcd956cb-hvhqf
