Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

If someone has an existing cluster not created by aws-eda-slurm-cluster, can you create a script to configure the RES desktop as a login node?

The scripts should be able to be adapted. The main issue would be that the security group rules and route53 Aname wouldn't exist.
