If a device has sent more data than the default query limit (i.e. 10000) in a given time frame, the result does not contain the links pagination field. Therefore, it is not easy to retrieve all data in that time frame.

When the actual issue is fixed, it would be great to thoroughly document the expected behaviour ( #629 👀).
