spotify-installer from packman repos no longer works #28
Comments
Right - I haven't had time to fix this yet :-( Several people have attempted to update to the new version via #24, #25, #26, #27, and #30, but unfortunately noone has managed to submit a correct pull request yet :-( Please see #30 (comment) and http://blog.adamspiers.org/2012/11/10/7-principles-for-contributing-patches-to-software-projects/ |
Then take the #27 which seem to have only problem - not being a single commit. rebase squash it and don't be a dick about it |
@aspiers ok. Can you tell me (is there any private message?) how to properly submit a correct pull ? :P Really I do not know, how to do it, because I am using git first time in my life, and I was happy to do anything :P |
@sysek In addition to the above link there's also https://help.github.com/articles/using-pull-requests |
I'm assuming this issue is in reference to the error when running install-spotify that states: "wget -O ~/rpmbuild/SOURCES/spotify-client_0.9.4.183.g644e24e.428-1_amd64.deb http://repository.spotify.com/pool/non-free/s/spotify/spotify-client_0.9.4.183.g644e24e.428-1_amd64.deb failed! Aborting. |
