Trying to do it on kali? UNIX family lol

Hey...im trying to do this through kali...i installed ldid onto kali...stuck on step 3 ... As step 4 tells us that from then onwards it should be on the device this would mean step 1-3 and the 'make' command would be via terminal on the PC? also where would i specify 'TARGET_SYSROOT'? what flag or file would need to be modified? lastly, step 8... im guessing we would be executing /usr/local/bin/haxx ? its not very clear... a quick answer for now is appreciated however a youtube video of installation would be amazing for this!
