archive specific pvaccess record field

I'm wondering if archive specific pv access record field is possible because currently it stores the whole PV structure that makes web viewer stop working

Is it you want to store only one field? Or that you want to only retrieve one field?
For storage you can always use another PV that takes the field you want from the first one, and archive that.
For retrieval that would be a new feature.

in August 2023, I've written a similar Email to @slacmshankar, asking if it would be possible to archive just parts of a custom PVA structure.
He answered, that there is no code that would support this, but stated "it would be a good idea tho".

i'd like to ask if there are plans to implement this feature and if so, whats the time plan for that?
