🔖 Feature description
Currently, when manually creating a new document in the collection, I have observed a UX issue that needs improvement.
Here is a brief description 👇
🎤 Pitch
Why?
When entering a long text in one of the input fields, the text extends beyond the visible width of the input. To review what I have written, I attempt to scroll left using my touchpad. However, this action often triggers a vertical scroll and navigates away from the page, resulting in the loss of all the draft I had included. This experience can be frustrating and overwhelming.
Proposal
To address this issue and prevent draft loss, it would be beneficial to implement a confirmation alert when attempting to leave the page (if draft exists). The alert should clearly state that leaving the page will result in the loss of the draft. This alert will serve as a safety measure, ensuring that users are aware of the consequences before navigating away and losing their work.
By implementing this improvement, users will have a better experience when creating documents, as they will be able to review and edit their inputs without the fear of accidentally losing their progress.
