Are your GitHub forks of Tix and other dormant Tcl/Tk extensions only intended for your use in MagicSplat, or would you like for others to use and contribute them as a more actively maintained fork? If the latter, I would be willing to add some existing patches as well as work on Tcl 8.7/9.0 and Tk 8.7 compatibility.

Sure, patches are more than welcome. Or if you are actively maintaining them, I can get rid of my forks and just pull from your repository. Either way works for me.
Thanks for the quick response. Currently I would be inclined to recreate the repository with the full CVS history if I have the opportunity. Often when I am studying older code I will look at the code history rather than try to infer things from a single version, and I find code archeology tools like git blame and GitLens for VSCode very useful for this.
