In the menu that says "Copy TDML File", if Run or Debug is selected there, it does not reference the most recent launch.json file. Instead it is prompts for a file like it is still using the originally created launch.json file. Possibly, the extension is using the last configuration but overriding the data file selection. The user experience feels like it should just be "Debug" (reusing same schema and same data, and same launch.json settings), or "Run" (ditto on the configuration).
