Made two attempts to run cr14.1 32-bit Live Non-Install on legacy hardware: 1) Compaq Presario Q56 and 2) ASUS Q200E with differing affect.
Presario experiences erratic wallpaper/background, mouse cursor and menu listing of apps.
a) The background blackens out the wallpaper (and the opened app) when an app is selected to run and occupy to the
entire viewing window. App can be run in a reduced window upon access it from after selecting either the open-apps
(square) or home (circle) functions.
b) The mouse-cursor has an uncharacteristic enclosed shadow. Mouse is hypersensitive.
c) Listing of the app menu in lower left-hand corner only appears vertically linear; unable to tile it in X-by-X matrix fashion.
ASUS mouse plays peek-a-boo. On rare occasion, it will not appear immediately after booting. The cursor disappears without obvious restorability with greater repeatability upon waking from inactivity.
Will continue drilling down on prior releases until a stable version emerges, Suggestions regarding cm14.1 are welcome.
Best.
