Component not pooling current status from Midea cloud if I use app

I'm running latest version installed through HACS on HA 108.6 and I see this problem for long time - when I use app on phone to start AC component in HA does not update - is there any chance to have this working?

Are you using the fan only workaround? I thought state updates should work unless that is enabled, though I have to use the workaround so can't really test myself.

I'm using fan only as otherwise I'm flooded with timeouts in logs, but it does not work in both cases - I don't see an update on this component when I use Midea App on phone, maybe we can chase this bug together to see what's going on?

Maybe you can turn off fan only workaround, and lower the scan interval until timeouts go away? Then perhaps accurate states would eventually show in HASS?
Out of interest, why use the midea app if you have the home assistant integration?

How to lower scan interval?
I had midea app working in first place before I found this integration for hass - it's easier for wife to start AC through app before I finally finish working on ha - short of time.
