I would personally leave it open as a tracking issue, since the updated bill of material will be delivered each week with the team planning document. But since you as developer have to take care of it, you can handle it, however you'd prefer

I'd like to leave it open if no one minds, so when filtering for issues assigned to me, I keep getting reminded of this.
