Why

To avoid conflict between the version of Frontend we assume is installed and the version that's actually installed

What

We should package the parts of Frontend we're using so we can rely on GOV.UK Frontend components while we're building the management pages without that dependency being resolved in the user's prototype.

Done when

  • User can uninstall GOV.UK Frontend and management pages still work
  • The GOV.UK Frontend version installed for Manage Prototype does not affect the user's prototype
