What

Go through all the information shared in the Native apps issue (as well as the stuff that the Digital Identity programme have shared) and highlight the main themes. Then decide if there's anything we should do as a team to keep the conversation going or get value from the findings.

Why

  1. The conversation's slowed a bit
  2. There's lots of interesting stuff in there but needs some making sense of
  3. There's work going on in other parts of government to do with apps that might benefit from some of the insights shared

Who needs to work on this

Designer, PM

Who needs to review this

No-one

Done when

  • Summarised comments
  • Shared with team
  • Made decision on what to do next

Update on this – we consolidated the various conversations going on into a 'working design principles for apps' document (currently only viewable by team).

Our next steps are:

  • continue having conversations with teams working on government apps and running the principles by them
  • push our programme SMT to get more clarity on the app strategy so we can gauge the value of any future work
