Zabbix 6.2; script hacked to make it work.

On ER-8-XG

On ES-16-XG

The red marks are errors that the values either don't exist, or "can't parse".

Not sure if this script, or not all EdgeMAX devices are the same, or if Zabbix 6.2??

Hi,

Yes, it sounds like the SNMP OIDs that the template tries to fetch from the devices are not available or may have been changed (they can change between edgemax firmware versions as well). Unfortunately, it was problematic to maintain this template with various edgemax devices (from experience whilst working at an MSP).

Are you able to snmpwalk those devices if we can discuss this further on Discord? Depending on your needs, I can assist in making a custom template for your devices and then we can release those FOSS.

I removed the linked template because it doesnt exist in zabbix 6. The issue is cause by zabbix not having the OID referenced properly. After a little digging, I found the proper OIDs.

Go in the template and change "Total amount of available memory" OID to "1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.4.6.0"
Go in the template and change "Total amount of memory" OID to "1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.4.5.0"

I now have the proper values showing.
I should look on how to do a PR to resolve the issue soon...

Edit: I replace the linked template by the "Network Generic Device by SNMP"
Edit2: Do not do this: it will duplicate some items

@TurkeyMan lets wait for the feedback on #14 for the router part. #3 seems to be the same issue about the switch.
