HI,
It would be nice if it were possible to exclude certain areas from the home or away status.
For example if I am in the garage I want to be detected in the garage but not at home because they are 2 separate areas.
Thanks

Howdy! Interesting use-case, I think most folk consider the whole property to be "home" but it certainly makes sense to have areas that you wouldn't want treated that way.
Ideally, I'd suggest creating a template sensor to handle this, but I see there have long been requests in HA to be able to create a device_tracker entity using a template, but so far nothing has come of it - so if you want to be able to apply it to a "person" directly it will have to be inside an integration for now.
Hmm... actually, you could take a look at the "magic areas" custom integration, it's possible that it can do it - I haven't used it yet, but it's whole thing is about being able to mix and change areas and stuff, so it's possible it might be able to do it already or be modified to suit.
Failing that though, I am willing to see how this can be integrated into Bermuda, I'll just need to have a think about how best to implement it, and then, of course - come up with the time to get it done!
I looked into how Magic Area works, and I don’t think it’s suitable for my needs. It would be more useful to have it directly in Bermuda. Otherwise, I’d have to abandon the concept of home/not home in automations and create sensors like "Home Presence" with all the home areas and "Garage Presence" with the garage area.
