The climatic menu in R-Instat has been making good progress.

I am in the process of writing 2 tutorial-type guides for the climatic "system" with R-Instat. We should later consider also a series of scripts for videos.

I have initially been capturing screens using snagit. The captured screen then transfers easily to powerpoint, so I have all the screens in successive slides in powerpoint. Some have red boxes to emphasise the actions users need to take.

The first guide is on preparing data for climatic analyses, i.e. organising the data and then checking, up to quality control.

So I have 2 files, one currently with the Word document and the other with the slides. I am having trouble uploading these files from here, so they may follow later.

Here are the 2 files for the first climatic guide. This goes as far as the quality control. It lacks an appendix on importing climatic data more generally, but is otherwise reasonably complete. It uses the Guinea data, which is from 2 sites.

Here are the files for the second guide. This is less complete because the climatic dialogues are not yet ready, and we are also preparing a dialogue to make it easy to plot the PICSA type graphs.

Since the first guide is complete this should now be converted from Word onto our wiki page.

I will look into it.
