Part Selection Improvement

This view may have a huge list of items.
What if someone improves it to show the filename, with nested objects for clarity?

You mean like a drop-down menu below the Filter field ? Yes this would be a good idea, if it defaults to the current behavior with the option "all documents"

No not like that. I was just thinking about displaying the results in an enhanced way in the same place having nested objects and maybe being able to fold files hiding objects inside of them.

For instance, an example would look like this:

• file
  • part
  • part2
• file2
  • part

Instead of a list of plain text which is too busy to find something quick.

• file#part
• file#part2
• file2#part

when a filter is applied, if it matches a substring on the file name, it continues to show nested things... if matches only substrings on parts inside nested to a file (inside of that file) file, it continues to show the file name since it is the parent of that object.

Also, having one extra drop-down list is one extra decision for the user, this would mess the usability. The filter is already really good as it is.
