I have 4 internet connections bonded together with openmptcprouter, which is running in a Hyper-V VM on Windows Server 2019. Two connections are via Ethernet, and two are via direct-attached USB to a mifi hotspot.
When I replaced one of my hotspots with an ethernet-enabled one, I needed to change my connections. I found that the router was not happy with this, because it would not communicate on the changed interface. I noticed this because the interface failed to obtain a DHCP address. The good news is that it's something that is easily fixed in Hyper-V.
If this happens to you, open up Hyper-V manager and open the settings on your openmptcprouter VM. Under the new connections, expand the options and check "Enable MAC address spoofing" and "Enable device naming". You will find that your new Internet connections suddenly start working!
