Extension Crashes. How to preserve data on reinstall?

Hi :)

I'm encountering recurring crashes with the extension failing to load, so I'd like to reinstall the addon.
Is it possible to preserve the downloaded data?

Hey @Dannii-Darkness

Thanks for dropping by and reporting this issue. Fortunately we know about it, and it is one of the fixes of our updated version, which is expected to be released this month.
There this crashing does not happen anymore.
In this update, you we will then be able to port your old data into the new extension.

For now, just leave the extension deactivated, not uninstalled. This way your data stays and can be ported later, as soon as the extension updates.

It also has other cool & new features. :)
