Hi,

The import process is not very user-friendly. I have over 15k items to import, which takes about 7h. Unfortunately I closed the Import tab and the import did not started from place where it was interrupted.

Ideally, the import process would save it state every X imported item, so when user accidentally close the tab, next time he start the import, it will restart from last save point

Hey Robert,

Yes, I know :( Its just implemented that it works, hence the notification, not to close it.

With the switch to the WebMemex code base, this will be a background process, that you can leave and interrupt whenever you want.
Also the import time is very pessimistically calculated. With a reasonable internet connection it should take way less.

Hope that helps!
Thanks for taking the time to give us this feedback.

Oliver
