Parameter data types are not given enough visual priority.

There are plenty of ways to up the visual priority, here's just one example.

I agree, the PHP Docs do a good job at using colour - although they only display the parameter type within the PHP function syntax definition, https://www.php.net/strstr

I like how MDN handles the "optional" badge on parameters, pulling that out of the description could also give a little more breathing room to the type.

It would be nice to get away from using italics, they can be hard on readability. (It can get a little much when there's also a default value)
