Creator: Can't update cover block background image

Hi,
I've tried to create pattern using cover block.
I need to add background image but somehow it's not working.

I found this repo to post the same thing. It appears that you can only set a Background Image for Cover Blocks if you do it as you first insert it. Once you set a background color, you can't change it. (I'm assuming the bug is related to the functionality where most of the Media Library is disabled, relying on OpenVerse.)
