Feature request: Extension for Visual Studio Code

This is a feature request for Visual Studio Code.
I am open to contribute or collaborate in the extension development.

That would be great. Sadly I am not familiar with the extensibility sdk for VS Code and I have too much on my plate at the moment to start its learning process at this moment.

That being said, I can see its value.

At a first glance I think the steps needed would be:

• Make the C++ clang based parser build and work on all major platforms: OS X, Windows, Linux...
• Write the layout viewer in javascript. ( this could be either a native JS canvas render or launching a C++ app with Imgui or something we can reuse the already done C# window... )
• Code the VS Code extension glue to make the calls to the parser and push the results to the viewer.

I would need more expertise in VS Code to better understand the best course of action. If you are more familiar with it and want to propose an approach I would be glad to chat about it.
