it's not added like every other addon through blender pereferences

The structure of addons has changed.

To use RenderBurst in newer versions of Blender you need to do the following steps.

How to install RenderBurst

Download the Repo as ZIP
Unzip the folder (should be named "RenderBurst-master"
Delete "RenderBurst27.py" and the two "blend-Files"
Rename "RenderBurst.py" to "init.py"
ZIP the folder again
Install the Addon and it should work again
