Not sure if relevant enough but maybe useful - I'm having the same issue playing any games with Proton, same card and up-to-date Steam. Occured since yesterday (I think my drivers automatically updated) |

With an AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT and the latest video drivers downloaded from AMD, starting Steam gives this corrupted window:

My CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4770 CPU @ 3.40GHz
My GPU: [AMD/ATI] Navi 21 [Radeon RX 6800/6800 XT / 6900 XT] [1002:73bf] (rev c0)
My Linux: CentOS8, 4.18.0-348.2.1.el8_5.x86_64 #1 SMP Tue Nov 16 14:42:35 UTC 2021 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
My GPU driver: dkms status | grep "amdgpu|radeon" yields amdgpu/5.11.32-1337797.el8
glxinfo yields OpenGL core profile version string: 4.6.14800 Core Profile Context
OpenGL and Vulkan run fine in other apps.
