I bought Cubemen and tried it and game crashes in intro screen/movie.
I have Ubuntu 12.04 64bit, Ati 6850 with latest Ati 12.11 beta 11 driver.

My dump:
Game update: AppID 207250 "Cubemen", ProcID 7840, IP 0.0.0.0:0
Found path: /home/guest/.local/share/Steam/SteamApps/common/Cubemen/Cubemen
Mono path[0] = '/home/guest/.local/share/Steam/SteamApps/common/Cubemen/Cubemen_Data/Managed'
Mono path[1] = '/home/guest/.local/share/Steam/SteamApps/common/Cubemen/Cubemen_Data/Mono'
saving roaming config store to 'sharedconfig.vdf'
roaming config store 2 saved successfully
/home/guest/.local/share/Steam/SteamApps/common/Cubemen/startgame.sh: line 17: 7843 Aborted (core dumped) "${GAMEROOT}"/${GAMEEXE} "$@"
Game removed: AppID 207250 "Cubemen", ProcID 7843
saving roaming config store to 'sharedconfig.vdf'
roaming config store 2 saved successfully

So I searched for solution and found this thread:
http://steamcommunity.com/app/221410/discussions/1/882966056802399246/

More logs from there:
$ cd ~/.local/share/Steam/SteamApps/common/Cubemen
$ LD_LIBRARY_PATH=./:Cubemen_Data/Plugins gdb ./Cubemen
... and got this:
Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.

Seems like Ati related problem.

I e-mailed support and It seems like Ati related problem with Unity game engine. I'll move discussion back to original (http://steamcommunity.com/app/221410/discussions/1/882966056802399246/) thread and update status there.

It's not a unity problem, I've getting a crash in the intro too with KDE, I have an ATI card though.

This can be tricky:
Ubuntu's Unity Desktop Environment - http://unity.ubuntu.com/
Unity Game Engine - http://unity3d.com/

I was talking about Unity (game) engine. I should express more clearly. My fault. (I updated my previous post)
