flatpak package only : file menu kills the app - no resizing of the window possible

Describe the bug
When clicking the file menu, VS Codium gets killed.
The window cannot be resized.
VScodium installed with .deb doesn't have the bug
My other flatpak apps are fine

Please confirm that this problem is VSCodium-specific

• This bug doesn't happen if I use Microsoft's Visual Studio Code. It only happens in VSCodium.

haven't found VScode in flatpak to test that

Steps to reproduce the behavior:
install vscodium with flatpak (on gnome)

Desktop (please complete the following information):

• OS: ubuntu
• x64
• 22.04
• gnome
• flatpak

i'm reopeneing here because the duplicate doesn't mention the impossibility to resize vscodium windows & the latest fix didn't fix that bit.

hey thanks for your reply,
i'm going to search for wayland flatpak no window resize
but note that I have most on my apps with flatpak & this is happening only with vscodium, that is was not happening before (before what I don't know but I feel it started at the same time as the file menu bug).

thanks as i could recover window resize setting vscodium to use x11 window manager (with flatseal).

Will there be a fix for wayland or is it just the x11 flag missing in the recent releases & the app was using x11 before without me knowing it ?

the app was using x11 before without me knowing it ?

Since several months the flatpak version use as wayland as default if it is available
