It follows the "Purpose-driven dashboards" principle. Each tab/plot answers one research question. All research questions were chosen appropriately and well answered by the dashboard.
All plots have default initial states to avoid over-plotting, as the "Choose defaults wisely" principle suggests.
I found the dashboard instruction very concise and easy to understand, following the "Less is more" principle.
The dashboard follows the "Allow users to filter data" principle and allows users to filter data with a dropdown menu or a slider. This feature makes it possible for users to interactively visualize the data.
I also noticed a few changes could be made to improve the dashboard.
Parts of the instructions are hidden by plots. For example, in the first tab, the first "S" of the sentence "Select a statistic:" is hidden by the plot, not sure if this is a problem with my browser though. This could be avoided by adjusting the size of the plot or moving all menus or sliders to the top.
The legend for the dashed line in tab 2 and tab 3 could be easily overlooked since it is separated from other legends. If possible, it is better to align the dashed line legend along with other legends.
The interactive feature is not enabled in plots. I personally prefer the interactive feature and think that this feature makes the visualization more effective and helps users better explore the data.
