I expect not to have to click "Show more" for every single post in a thread I want to read as it's very annoying.
Personally, I don't really want Twidere to collapse any post in my timeline, and ideally also not in replies but if it does have to collapse at least some of them, I would expect it to only happen for actual long posts.
Actual behavior
I have to click "Show more" for every single post in a thread. It seems that all replies are affected to the post are affected when Twidere shows "Show more" button for the main post:
Note that based on all the posts in my timeline, this appears to only happen for some posts on Mastodon and I couldn't find a single occurrence of this for Twitter posts though the reason for this could be as simple as Twitter having a smaller character limit (280 vs 500).
Steps to reproduce
Go to search in the sidebar on the left.
Search for [email protected] and switch to users tab to find Mariatta's Mastodon account.
Scroll down until you find a post with "Show more" button (ideally the one starting with "Frustration about moving mastodon server") and click on it:
