I would absolutely love to build a Text User Interface for quiet - I would need rust bindings or some form of an API that I can call into. Ideally I'm picturing:

  • the user start my rust application from terminal
  • the rust TUI opens up Quiet as a service in the background
  • the TUI uses some form of API or C bindings to send and receive content updates for Quiet to then propagate.

Just and FYI I'm just open sourced an awesome TUI system which should have sufficiently advanced elements to build a beautiful/responsive/intuitive design for Quiet (going to publicly announce soon but here it is for reference: https://github.com/bogzbonny/yeehaw) - so yeah if I build a TUI this is what I'll use.

Is there already an API? which is secure? any thoughts?

Thanks for making this wicked project!
