iOS landscape mode - Content bouncing bug

Issue Summary

When viewing a page in landscape format on iOS the contents begins to bounce.

Tried with Safari and Firefox on iOS 18.3 on iPhone 11 Pro Max, with two different Ghost themes, same result in both cases. The issue doesn't seem to happen in portrait orientation.

Tested on

• Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max
• iOS 18.3
• Safari
• Firefox 124.1

Steps to Reproduce

1. View page such as https://digest.ghost.io in landscape orientation on iPhone 11 Pro Max.
2. Scroll down to beginning of contents.
3. Contents begins to bounce or jiggle up and down rapidly.
4. When scrolling back to the top this is no longer the case

I’ve tested this on an iPhone 16 pro max and in Safari’s responsive design at the same viewport size as an iPhone 11 but haven’t been able to reproduce so far.
