The Bouncy Castle Crypto package is a Java implementation of cryptographic algorithms. This jar contains JCE provider and lightweight API for the Bouncy Castle Cryptography APIs for JDK 1.5 to JDK 1.8.
Path to vulnerable library: /home/wss-scanner/.gradle/caches/modules-2/files-2.1/org.bouncycastle/bcprov-jdk15on/1.51/9ab8afcc2842d5ef06eb775a0a2b12783b99aa80/bcprov-jdk15on-1.51.jar
In Bouncy Castle JCE Provider version 1.55 and earlier the DSA does not fully validate ASN.1 encoding of signature on verification. It is possible to inject extra elements in the sequence making up the signature and still have it validate, which in some cases may allow the introduction of 'invisible' data into a signed structure.
