My biggest pet peeve with TrenchBroom is the fact that the 2D views are always linked. While I'm pretty sure a lot of people like that, it only really makes sense with more than one 2D view and I'm aware that TrenchBroom is more 3D view oriented. The fact is that I'm used to map with all 4 views in old school editors like Radiant and Hammer and it actually frustrates me that I can't control each 2D views individually. In fact, the unwarranted movement on the other 2D views is actually one of the biggest reasons why I don't use TrenchBroom.
Thing is, as TrenchBroom became very popular, people aren't making entity files for Radiant (that TrenchBroom also supports) anymore, they are making FGD files for TrenchBroom only. You start actually being forced to use TrenchBroom.
I suggest adding a toggle switch in the view options or in the view preferences to allow the user to unlink the 2D views while also adding a shortcut to synchronize the 2D views to the active view without necessarily focusing on the selected object.
This would definitely help me to be able to use TrenchBroom.
