Thoughts on the experimental function: journey diary incl. map

First of all: I love this function and I consider it very important for the attractiveness of Träwelling, because this is exactly what I want when I think about tracking and visualising my rides.
That's precisely why I have a few ideas about the function to expand it further.

1. Selectable period of time

The function with the current day view is really cool. As an important extension, I would find it very interesting to have a selectable time period in which you can then view all the journeys you have made in that time and then also have the map that visualises the journeys.
Example of the application: I'm going on a city trip to Berlin over a long weekend. After the trip, I would like to see the route I travelled there on U- and S-Bahn, on the map.
Ideally with a calendar in which you can then select the day or period.

2. Selectable display options of the map

It would also be cool to be able to change the map display.
For example, I can imagine simply ticking a box for the display next to the map. The possibilities could be as follows:

• Standard, as now, single-colour routing (travelled/not travelled)
• Different colours for the different types of transport (long-distance, regional express, bus, tram, S-Bahn,...)
• Different colours for the reasons for the trip (private/work/business trip)
• A kind of heat map that shows how often you have travelled a route

3. Mini Game

It would be cool if Träwelling could determine how many routes of a country network have already been travelled and, based on this, calculate how many % of the rail network of country X you have already travelled. This would certainly lead to some crazy people trying to travel 100% of a country's rail network. I imagine that would be pretty cool.

I hope the post doesn't overwhelm you and is understandable so far. I know that implementing point 3 in particular is extremely difficult, but I wanted to give you some ideas and input.
