Python scripts are expected to work, but there needs to be a way to increase confidence for automated releases, especially for an open source project.

Requirements:

  • Way to run on PR builds (but not by default)
  • Way to run on CI/CD builds (by default)
  • Template for generating new unit tests (location? makefile more?)
  • Code Coverage Reporting
  • Cov on what's there already
