Video pauses and unpauses every time I go to background mode and back, or everytime I open settings and back

When I open a video and start playing it, the video will 'freeze' (it seems it pauses and unpauses) for about a second when I get out of the app, and if I open it again, it also does the same. This also happens when I click in 'Settings' and when I go back to the video from 'Settings' (this all inside the app).
EDIT1: This also happens if you press 'Downloads' or 'About'.
EDIT2: Very weird, if I choose 'open in pop-up mode' and I don't give it any permission to open it in pop-up mode, it will open it in background mode and there'll be no freezing. Any ideas?
EDIT3: This also occurs when I turn on and off the screen, even with the 'trick' of EDIT2. This also happens if the screen turns off by itself.

Steps to reproduce the bug

1. Open app.
2. Open a video.
3. Get off the app in any way (use the middle button, or use the 'task switcher').
4. Or open settings within the app.
5. Both of these, as well as re-opening the app and going back from settings, will result in a 'freezing' of the video for a moment.

Actual behavior

The video freezes when any of these actions is done.

Expected behavior

No freezing should happen.

Can confirm this. Never bothered me though as the pause is pretty brief.

Sounds like a duplicate of #5016, though that it also happens when closing settings is a bit curious. Please post your version of the bug on that issue as a comment. Thanks!
